This is EJ blogging live from the PGA Merchandise Show. First time I’ve been to the show and it’s quite the site. I don’t know how many exhibits and people are here, but I do know it’s a lot! Meeting a lot of interesting people and seeing a lot of new and unique products. Have identified quite a few people that we’ll be having on the golf radio show over the next few months.
Met the social media / twitter guy with Cleveland Golf. Pretty interesting story as started blogging and tweeting about Cleveland because he used and love the equipment. At some point they got wind of him, got legal involved and eventually decided he was an asset to them. So now the blogger / twitter dude blogs for equipment. Looking to be full-time some day when hiring freeze is over.
Also met Jon Raser. Check him out at http://gospeedraser.com and @johnraser on twitter. John is a 26 year old Professional Golfer/Tour Pro and Entrepreneur from Orlando, Florida. He blogs/vlogs about his road to the PGA Tour and shares with you an inside look at his life.
Be back later with more PGA Merchandise Show info. Read more and listen to our Golf Radio Show.

Tiger Woods Said:
“I am deeply aware of the disappointment and hurt that my infidelity has caused to so many people, most of all my wife and children. I want to say again to everyone that I am profoundly sorry and that I ask forgiveness. It may not be possible to repair the damage I’ve done, but I want to do my best to try.
I would like to ask everyone, including my fans, the good people at my foundation, business partners, the PGA Tour, and my fellow competitors, for their understanding. What’s most important now is that my family has the time, privacy, and safe haven we will need for personal healing.
After much soul searching, I have decided to take an indefinite break from professional golf. I need to focus my attention on being a better husband, father, and person.
Again, I ask for privacy for my family and I am especially grateful for all those who have offered compassion and concern during this difficult period.”
EJ’s Opinion
For the first time in 2 weeks I think we just saw Tiger stand-up and be man. Hopefully for him and his family this is one of the first steps for him to get his life back with his family. The selfish part of me wants a quick return to the PGA tour, but the husband and father in me begs for Tiger to take his time to make things right. Come back when you and your family are ready…. I just hope it’s not too long.
See you on the links…
